Councillor Biographies

Tommy Clay, Ward 1 (term expires 2023)

Tommy is very dedicated to the community that provides a home for his family.  As a City Council member for Newcastle, OK he strives to give good counsel to the City of Newcastle on its management of resources, growth aspirations, and fiscal responsibilities to its citizens.

Tommy is the President and Owner of Ardor LLC. Ardor LLC has multiple subsidiaries, including Ardor Solutions OK, Ardor Solutions SE, and Ardor Consulting. These companies provide different facets of the Industrial Flooring spectrum on a nationwide scale. Tommy has been a leader in the polished concrete and industrial flooring industry for over 15 years. A certified Master Craftsman and certified Teacher/Instructor, his focus has been on educating the industry and training up a workforce that can help lift the industry through professionalism and craftsmanship.

Tommy’s experience lies heavily in the management and training of others. In this role, he leverages experience from his time in the Marine Corps as a Radar Watch Supervisor, Senior Purchasing Manager for Dietrich Industries in Fredericksburg, Virginia and Senior Project manager with Advance Technology Coating in Oklahoma City.

Marci White, Ward 2 (term expires 2021)

Marci was appointed to the Newcastle City Council to represent Ward 2 in August of 2019.  She served on the Newcastle Board of Education for the past two years and remains an active supporter and volunteer with the school district.

Marci founded Redbud Telecom Consulting in July of 2019 after several years with another company.  Redbud contracts with healthcare providers across the U.S. to procure telemedicine circuits and FCC Universal Service Funding (FUSF). Marci worked at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission with the Oklahoma Universal Service Fund (OUSF).  Marci moved to the role of consultant in 2015 and was part of the Oklahoma telecom industry team that authored HB2616 in 2016, modernizing the OUSF statutes at the state level.  Marci stays active with federal telecom issues as a member of the Schools, Healthcare, and Libraries Broadband Coalition (SHLB).  Marci's early career also includes several years in public education and IT sales account management.

In her spare time, Marci enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff and her two children, Koby and Juliana. Her term expires April 2021. As a member of City Council, she also serves on the Public Works Authority, Risk Management Board and Economic Development Authority.
